Concert Donations

Below you will find a list of goodies we would like to serve after the concert on the 12th. It is divided by grade levels as before and can be dropped off Monday, December 12th in the chorus room. We would like to do a holiday theme 
goodies. Here are a few ideas that may help. Mint hot chocolate brownies, brownies with icing on top, Red Velvet Cake or cupcakes, ginger bread cookies, mini cupcakes with festive icing (white with sprinkles, red or green) pecan, pumpkin, apple, carrot tarts or mini cakes, frosted pretzels, pumpkin spice or apple Danish, pumpkin or cranberry loaf cake or slices. I think you get the idea. The beverages we serve will be a little different too, going with the holiday theme you will see that reflected in what is asked to be brought in.
12th paper products…holiday napkins, cups (both for hot and cold beverages) plates.
11th holiday cookies, brownies, cakes, Danishes, wrapped candy (kisses or peanut butter cups)
10th 2 liter bottles of Sierra Mist Cranberry Splash, Canada Dry Cranberry Ginger ale or Raspberry ginger ale, 7up Cherry flavor.
9th ginger bread cookies, mini cupcakes, tarts, frosted pretzels, pound cake.
Caroling @ the Avenues

The Allatoona High School Chorus will be Caroling Holiday Music at the Avenues of West Cobb every Wednesday, during the month of December from 5-7 PM. Join us in sharing in the holiday spirit on

Enjoy an evening of complimentary Horse Drawn Carriage rides and Family Photos with Santa during this time as part of the Avenues holiday events.
On these special evenings, you can support Allatoona’s chorus by dining at Otter’s Chicken at the Avenues of West Cobb. A percentage of the net receipts will be donated to the chorus.

Findley’s Butcher
We will be selling gift certificates for Findley’s Butcher shop for you to buy your holiday turkey or ham. They will be in the range from $25.00, $50.00 or $75.00. The chorus will get $5.00 for each 25.00, $10.00 for each 50.00 and $15.00 for each 75.00. So if you would like to have a fresh, naturally fed turkey or ham for your holiday look for the gift certificate table and sign up to get one. They are good at the Acworth or Catersville location.
Key Chain order forms same home on Monday and will be due back by the 7th of Nov. These are great stocking stuffers for the holiday season.

Since our first concert is in the fall we would like to have a fall theme concession
stand. By fall theme items like…orange frosted cookies, pumpkin pie tarts,
pumpkin muffins, pre-sliced cinnamon pound cake. These are just ideas. Below
you will find a list of items we would like for you child to bring in for the
concession stand. You may drop them off in the chorus room on Monday, Oct.
24th.

11th: Cookies, Brownies, pie tarts
10th 2liter Cokes, Diet Cokes, Sprite, Sweet Tea

Choral Kick-Off 2011-2012

It is that time of year again. Time to get our Chorus in action. We will have the Allatoona High School Chorus Kick off on Saturday, September 10th from 9am to 5pm.
Activities include…Choral Rehearsal, Uniform Fittings ( we are looking for a uniform chair person too) Social Activities, Parent Booster Orientation Meeting @ 3pm, Potluck Dinner and First Performance of the 2001-2012 school year. So mark your calendars and come out and have some fun.
